Professors across Washington University were required to declare by Nov. 6 whether they will conduct their classes online, hybrid or in-person for the spring 2021 semester.

Washington University will fully transition from Blackboard to Canvas by the fall 2019 semester.

Switching to Canvas is an improvement as far as medium goes; however, things will not get better unless teachers learn how to use the new system and begin to post grades.

So, Blackboard is pretty decent. Look, it’s so friendly—the homepage tab is titled “Welcome, Sean.”
