Committees of Student Union (SU) Senate held further discussions of their projects during their meeting on March 7, specifically postponing the add/drop deadline and attaining greater access to safe sex supplies on campus, March 28. More than 20 senators were present at the meeting.
Student Union (SU) Senate discussed constitutional and election packet changes, gave committee updates, and brainstormed ways to improve the SU Annual Survey that shapes the goals of Senate for the upcoming year in their meeting, March 7.
In its new term, Student Union Senate aims to expand the volume of projects tackled while checking more items off its to-do list.
After completing a 10-page report on student concerns surrounding the add/drop deadline, Student Union’s academic affairs committee held a meeting Nov. 5 to discuss the impacts of a potential deadline extension.
For the past few months, Student Union Senate’s Academic Affairs Committee has been working with Dean Robert Wiltenburg and Ms. Doreen Salli to make improvements to the Writing 1 program. Before discussing the changes and recommendations, Student Union would like to thank Dean Wiltenburg and Ms.
