Yeasayer will be one of multiple artists to perform at spring W.I.L.D., Social Programming Board announced on Facebook Thursday.

SPB, the group is organizing the concert, told Student Life that eliminating “openers” and “headliners” and booking a number of artists of equal notoriety will make W.I.L.D. more of a festival.

Organizers said they will be announcing additional artists as they finalize contracts.

Yeasayer will be the first act to perform on April 26 and will go on stage from 6-6:45 p.m.

“We chose Yeasayer as our first artist because they are a quintessential Spring W.I.L.D. band with a pop feel. They are amazing performers and W.I.L.D. is about putting forth great programming for campus and we feel like they are a strong and talent group to put on main stage,” W.I.L.D. co-Director Anna Eisenberg said in a press release.
