British pop artist and singer of hits “Pocketful of Sunshine” and “Unwritten” Natasha Bedingfield has been announced as the headliner for 2025’s Night at the Pageant (NAP). The event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. at The Pageant on the Delmar Loop. This year’s NAP is only the third time the event has occurred since replacing fall WILD in 2023.

Tickets will be available for students on a “first-come, first-served basis for students based on grade level,” according to a Sept. 24 email from Student Union’s Social Programming Board (SPB) Concerts Director Kiely McEnery. Students can pick them up at the Danforth University Center between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2 and Thursday, Oct. 9.

Bedingfield’s performance was announced in an Instagram post by SPB on Sept. 30 at 2 p.m.

The singer’s upbeat pop records have sold over 20 million copies worldwide since her debut album “Unwritten” was released in 2004. The album’s title track saw a 156% increase in streams after its feature in the 2024 rom-com “Anyone But You.”

While 2024’s NAP saw a decrease in turnout from the year prior, SPB told Student Life at the time that they were not concerned about the lower attendance levels.

In the announcement post, SPB also shared that there will be an opener performing before Bedingfield.

“Stay tuned for the opener, the rest is still unwritten,” SPB wrote in the announcement post.

McEnery wrote that the opener is a developing artist with big potential.

We are really excited to bring him in and be part of the start of his career!” she wrote in an email to Student Life.
