Two incidents reported on Westminster Boulevard

Two burglaries were reported on Westminster Boulevard Wednesday. The Washington University Police Department sent a security memo at approximately 11:50 a.m. Thursday morning about the two incidents.

The first incident happened in the 6000 block of Westminster Boulevard close to the intersection of Rosedale Avenue at approximately 3:30 p.m. The suspect forcibly entered through the rear door of a student’s apartment, then immediately fled after he encountered a person inside the apartment. The incident was reported to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

The second robbery, which also took place in the 6000 block of Westminster Boulevard, was reported as happening between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The suspect entered the apartment and stole “a small amount of money,” according to the email.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating.
