Men’s soccer took on a conference foe, the golf team traveled to Ohio and while fall WILD was taking place in Brookings, swimming and diving and volleyball both hosted competitions.

The Washington University women’s golf team finished up its season this weekend, traveling to Normal, Illinois to compete with 22 other schools in the Kathy Niepangan Spring Fling, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University. The Bears had a strong outing, finishing second overall and first among Division III teams.

Battling through sickness, rain and stiff competition, junior Connie Zhou fired the best two-day score (152) of the tournament to lead the Washington University women’s golf team to a third-place finish on Monday at the O’Brien Invitational at the Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind.

Under the direction of seventh-year head coach Sean Curtis, Wash. U. will look to start the fall season on the right foot as they look to repeat as the tournament’s champions.
