Track and field displays talent as Bears sweep home invitational

The Washington University track and field teams dominated at the Wash. U. Invitational this weekend, featuring numerous first place finishers and sweeping the team competitions in commanding fashion. The women’s team accumulated 239 points over the 18 events, more than doubling second place Wartburg College’s 103, while the men’s team was the only one to crack triple digits, scoring 186 points across the invitational’s 18 events.

Women’s track runs to runner-up finish at indoor national championship, men finish fifth

Over spring break, the Washington University women’s track and field team placed second at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championship. They were narrowly edged out of first place after Williams College surged ahead on the final day of competition. The men’s track and field team placed fifth.
