Business school students are helping to review the University alcohol policy. This is the first time the University has approached the issue of alcohol with the active involvement of students.
The South 40 government is about to undergo a regime change. Approximately 700 inhabitants of the residential area voted for candidates in the 2010-2011 Congress of the South 40 (CS40) executive board elections last week. Voter turnout this year has declined compared to last year.
The Washington University Libraries have begun accepting applications for their 24th annual Neureuther Student Book Collection Essay Competition, with a $1,000 first prize and a $500 second prize. Any full-time current Washington University student is eligible to enter the competition. The deadline is Wednesday, March 31, 2010.

Dissatisfied with the variety of courses offered in the environmental studies program, a senior majoring in the subject turned in a five-page paper to the dean of Arts & Sciences explaining what Washington University could do to improve the the program.
