On Nov. 5, 2025, Quadrangle Pharmacy, the primary pharmacy for most students residing on the South 40, shut down. On Feb. 24, 2026, WashU announced that they purchased a pharmacy school. These two events, though months apart, are a testament to WashU’s failure to care for current students in the name of the university’s future. 

Suddenly, we knew two to three sapphics in each of our social circles. The community already existed; we just needed a way to see it.

In our first week of college, we all got that talk about imposter syndrome. Our seminar leaders gathered us up and said, “You belong here.” It was a nice sentiment, but a bit harder to believe as a student from a rural area.

To grow, we have to put ourselves in situations that are uncomfortable and scary. Running away at the first sign of failure prevents us from growing, both as students and people. 

The amount of times I’ve accidentally gone on dates I thought were chances to make friends is both excessive and embarrassing. I created a term for it: the “accidate.”

My issue with Sabrina Carpenter is not her chosen genre nor her melodies. They are catchy and everything pop songs should be. My issue lies in the lyrics.
