WashU traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to take on Carnegie Mellon University and Case Western University. The Bears split the two games, handily defeating Carnegie Mellon in a 3-1 victory but losing to Case Western 1-3.
The Bears traveled up to Stevens Point, Wisconsin to play three tough nonconference opponents in the Papa John’s Invite on Oct. 3 and 4. They ended the tournament 2-1, splitting Friday’s games against Augsburg University and No. 20 Gustavus Adolphus College before defeating No. 5 University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire on Saturday.
The No. 10 WashU volleyball team travelled to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the first University Athletic Association Round Robin of 2025 on Sept. 27 and 28. With their performance, they claimed the No. 2 spots in total kills and assists in the UAA, tallying 638 and 603 respectively across the weekend.
This resounding success is a testament to the seniors’ dedication to the team and exceptional leadership. In Saturday’s games, WashU fought hard to maintain their perfect home record this year, defeating Concordia 3-1 and Simpson College 3-2 in a five-set thriller.
