The senior outside hitter was dominant offensively throughout the UAA Championships, recording 38 kills over the course of the competition. Houck will be expected to come up big in the NCAA Tournament, in order for the Bears to achieve their goal of a title.
Joe Rizzo

Football
The senior defensive end turned in a big game for the Bears defense this weekend, recording four tackles and one interception against Rockford College. The interception moved his season total to five. In addition, Rizzo was named to the ESPN The Magazine College Division Academic All-District VII Team for his accomplishments in the classroom.
Kara Liefer

Volleyball
Liefer played a very instrumental role in the Bears’ runner-up finish at the UAA Championships this past weekend. The senior setter tallied 158 assists over the course of the tournament, and will need several great performances to help her team along in the NCAA Tournament. Liefer was also named to the ESPN The Magazine College Division Academic All-District VII Team.
Talia Bucci

Women’s Soccer
Bucci, a junior midfielder, notched her team’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to the University of Chicago this past weekend. The strike was her third of the season. Bucci wrapped up her season third on the team in scoring, with three goals and three assists. A solid performer for the past three seasons, Bucci is expected to be a major contributor once again next year.
