TEAM NOTES: The Bears upended 20th-ranked Rochester on Friday night. Junior guard Scott Stone continued his hot shooting from beyond the arc as he drained three key three-pointers in the game. Also, freshman sensation Troy Ruths continued to contribute in big numbers off the bench for the Bears. Ruths finished the game with 16 points and seven rebounds.
DID YOU KNOW? The Bears are 50-0 and in the last 50 games in which they held their opponent to under 60 points.

Women’s Basketball
LAST GAME: Wash U 78, Rochester University 56
TEAM NOTES: Junior forward Alicia Herald scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. The Bears combined for 30 total offensive rebounds that translated into 30 points. Senior Kelly Manning led the Bears in scoring with 21 points and also contributed three blocks. Four Bears finished the game in double figures in scoring, including senior center Hallie Hutchens and junior guard Katie Benson.

LAST MEET: Freshman Geoff Hart-Cooper and sophomore Monica Jones competed in the Midwest Invitational.
TEAM NOTES: Monica Jones finished with a time of 68.33 seconds in the women’s 100-yard breaststroke event. Geoff Hart-Cooper qualified for the NCAA “B” cuts in the men’s 100 yard butterfly event.
