The Miami Dolphins are really struggling this year, which isn’t a shock considering they lost the anchor of their team. Although they have one of the best defenses, their offense has been a dismal average 10 points a game. On a related note, Ricky Williams was last spotted in a 7-11 at 1 a.m. purchasing some Funyuns and a taquito. I don’t think he misses football yet.
Game of the week:
Philadelphia vs. Detroit
Although both teams are undefeated, Philadelphia is the heavy favorite to win and ultimately get to the Super Bowl. Don’t count out the young team of Detroit though. The Lions’ secondary will hold Terrell Owens down, and the one-two combination of Joey Harrington and Roy Williams is the best combination to come out of Detroit since Brittany Murphy and Kim Basinger in 8 Mile. Holla.

Playing against the Steelers, Deion Sanders returned a punt 23 yards, but had 15 of those yards taken back due to a penalty for removing his helmet after his return. After the game, Deion claimed that he only removed his helmet to fix his skullcap, which had accidentally fallen over his eyes-thus blinding him for the entire play. Whether Deion’s claim is true or not, the “I couldn’t see because I was blinded by my own skullcap” excuse may be a good one for Deion to remember-especially if he hangs out a lot with Ravens teammate Ray Lewis.
Game of the week:
Jacksonville vs. Tennessee
Jacksonville’s stout run defense is anchored by Marcus Stroud and John Henderson, two up-and-coming defensive tackles. If Jacksonville is able to take away the Titans’ resurgent run game, then it will be up to “Air” McNair to win the game.
