Summary : Suspicious subject stopped in the area of Park Dorm. Subject has been warned numerous times for trespassing. Disposition: Cleared by arrest.

11:22 a.m. -AUTO ACCIDENT -SHEPLEY DRIVE 080154
Summary: Minor accident involving a shuttle bus. No injuries. Disposition: Cleared.

1:05 p.m. INFORMATION ONLY REPORTS- 700 ROSEDALE, NORTH CAMPUS 080155 An employee reported a scam e-mail which is called the “Hitman Scam”. The scam is widely reported. Disposition: Cleared

8:37 a.m INFORMATION ONLY REPORTS – NORTH BROOKINGS (Y105) – Investigation into some pry marks on the door of an office. The office is alarmed and entry was not made. Pry marks appear to be old damage. Disposition: Under investigation.

10:48 a.m. LARCENY- THROOP DR 080157 St Louis City PD reported two B/M’s with bolt cutters behind a Coca Cola Truck parked on Throop Drive by Mac Lab. Suspects stole a cash box out of the truck. Total loss valued at $4000. Disposition: Under investigation.

11:33 a.m. PARKING VIOLATION – WEST CAMPUS BUILDING 080158 Fraudulent parking permit reported on parking lot #62- West Campus. Vehicle towed to Hartmann’s Towing. Disposition: Cleared

5:47 p.m LARCENY 5:47-GIVENS HALL (Y131) Student reported her purse stolen from Givens Hall 2nd floor art studio. Purse was left unsecured on a desk. Purse contained wallet, digital camera, student ID and several credit cards. Time frame from 1100 hours -1430 hours on 3-12-08. Disposition: Pending

11:11 a.m BURGLARY -GOLDFARB HALL OF SOCIAL WORK (Y251) An employee confronted a suspicious person inside a secure office suite in Goldfarb. Officers conducted a search of the area and discovered that one of the offices in the suite had been entered and property prepared for removal. Suspect is described as; a BM-45-50, 5’8″, medium build, balding, gold rimmed glasses, brown leather jacket, blue jeans, walked with a limp. Disposition: Under investigation.

2:09 a.m SEIZED PROPERTY- CUPPLES 2 (G112)
Officer observed three new, unopened, Microsoft packaged programs, in an unsecured location. Officer seized the items for safekeeping. Disposition: Pending pickup

LARCENY Mar 16, 2008-Sunday at 17:23
Location : SOUTH 40 080165
Summary: Complainant left his cell phone unattended on a table next to a basketball court while playing nearby. Upon his return approximately 30 minutes later the phone was missing. Value $120. Disposition: Pending

Location : OLIN LIBRARY (Y141) 080166
Summary: Non-affiliated subject was on campus using the library while the complainant was also using the library. The complainant has a restraining order against the subject. No contact was made between the complainant and the subject. Subject was contacted and advised he would have to leave the property and was issued a Trespass Warning . Disposition: Cleared.

Monday, March 17

9:24 a.m. LARCENY – BROWN HALL -(Y106)
Reporting party observed an unknown subject enter her office and go through her purse. Subject was later identified and arrested. Disposition: Cleared.

3:24 p.m. LARCENY – SNOWWAY GARAGE (P224)
Several teens reported to be looking in parked vehicles. Officers located five juveniles who stated they were looking for vehicles to steal from. One juvenile had just stolen a bike from the Village Housing Area. Disposition: Cleared, referred to Family Courts.

Tuesday, March 18

12:01 a.m. SUSPICIOUS PERSON- OLIN LIBRARY (Y141) Two suspicious white males reported in Olin Library, using the computers. Both subjects had previously been issued a no trespass warning. Disposition: Cleared, subjects escorted off campus.
