6:32 p.m. PROPERTY DAMAGE, MALLINCKRODT CENTER-Reporting party stated that unknown person(s) slashed her tires while parked near Simon Hall. Disposition: Pending.

10:59 a.m. FOUND PROPERTY, POLICE DEPARTMENT-Police officer stopped in parking lot #54 and given a car key found on the sidewalk along Wallace Dr., one half block south of Forsyth. Disposition: Pending.
11:13 a.m. SUSPICIOUS PERSON, ELIOT HOUSE-Report of a suspicious person entered building. White male, 20ish, medium build, brown hair, brown moustache, wearing dark jacket and pants. Subject was located and arrested for trespassing. Disposition: Cleared by arrest.
12:13 p.m. LARCENY-THEFT, GIVENS HALL-A Washington University student reported that his laptop was stolen from the second floor studio in Givens Hall. The time of the theft was between 2 and 11 a.m. on Oct. 13. Total loss valued at $1,800. Disposition: Under investigation.

3:25 p.m. PROPERTY DAMAGE, SMALL GROUP #1 LOPATA HOUSE-Reported that between Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 12 p.m. unknown person(s) damaged/tore down pieces of three bulletin boards (two 4 foot by 8 foot boards and one 30 inch by 30 inch board) located on the walls in the third floor hallway of Lopata House. Disposition: Under investigation.

9:09 a.m. LARCENY-THEFT, PARKING LOT #40-Student reported that between Oct. 16 at 12 p.m. and Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. unknown person(s) broke into his vehicle and took his Sony black and silver CD player/radio and subwoofers. Entry into the vehicle was gained by popping the lock on the passenger side door. No suspects or witnesses could be located. Total loss valued at $900. Disposition: Pending.
4:05 p.m. LARCENY-THEFT, BEAUMONT DORM-Student reported bike seat was stolen between Oct. 14 and Oct. 17. Disposition: Pending.
