Q: What’s your most memorable basketball moment?
A: I’d have to say the national title we won last year. I transferred here last year and was out the whole year with an injury; to be winning the national championship was a lot of fun to be a part of.

Q: What’s your most memorable pre-Washington University basketball moment?
A: I played with my older sister for two years in high school. It was definitely a memorable moment in my basketball career, it was just a completely different feeling than winning a championship.

Q: Do you have a favorite sports movie? Why?
A: I’d have to go with Hoosiers. I like the fact that it’s a basketball-related movie, plus I like the old-school stuff.

Q: Are you an NBA or a WNBA fan?
A: I don’t really like one any more than the other. I’m more of a college basketball fan. I’m into both men’s and women’s college basketball.

Q: Is there a specific professional player you’re most similar to?
A: No, I don’t compare myself to any players. I’m a big fan of Kansas’ men’s basketball team. They’re very disciplined, well-coached, and have a balanced attack. They’re a lot of fun to watch.

Q: What were your thoughts on the Super Bowl?
A: I wouldn’t really know; we were traveling on Sunday night back to St. Louis. We caught some parts of the game as we made stops, but we missed the exciting parts.

Q: Do you follow all sports or just basketball?
A: Yea, I’m a fan of all sports. I like both football and baseball, but I don’t play them too much. I’d rather watch the games than play them.

Q: Do you have any pre-game superstitions?
A: I’ve never had any superstitions. In fact, none of the other players really have superstitions. There are some players who will always eat a power bar or something before a game, but nothing too weird.

A: Definitely the people I play with. I’ve always enjoyed being with my teammates, the camaraderie is amazing and I enjoy practice and traveling with the team. We spend a lot of time together but it’s always fun.

Q: Do you have a most embarrassing basketball moment?
A: Nothing too bad-I’ve thrown a lot of air balls, but never one from the foul line. I do stupid stuff every game. A girl on my sister’s college team once made a basket at the wrong end of the court in a big game. That’s embarrassing.

Q: Is practice more competitive than the games? Be honest.
A: Practice is extremely competitive. We face the toughest competition during practice. However, there’s more pressure in the games, and the games present a different type of competition.

Q: What number do you wear? Why?
A: 14. I’ve always worn fourteen, my sister wore it in college also. Every high school teammate of mine that plays college basketball wears fourteen as well.

A: Uh, it would be a draw.

Q: Do you have a favorite professional basketball player to watch?
A: Probably Larry Bird. I like the old-school guys.
