21 professors from the Washington University School of Law signed a letter opposing Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation.
Washington University School of Law alumni Joseph and Yvonne Cordell donated $5 million to establish the Joseph and Yvonne Cordell Institute for Policy in Medicine & Law, which was dedicated last Wednesday.
Starting this semester, Washington University’s law school now offers a clinic in immigration law for second and third-year law students. The clinic is structured to provide students with practical experience representing and counseling non-U.S. citizens in immigration law cases.
In terms of audience turnout, this year’s Access to Equal Justice Conference at the Washington University School of Law was a rousing success. Even the overflow room was overflowing for The Ohio State University law professor Michelle Alexander, who has become arguably the nation’s foremost voice on American prisons and criminal justice inequality.
