Division III powerhouse Loras College was the most recent victim of the undefeated Washington University men’s soccer team. With the victory, the Red and Green improved to 5-0-2 and a perfect 2-0 on Francis field.

The men’s soccer team ended its 2009 season on Nov. 7 at the University of Chicago. After finishing 4th in the UAA and not receiving an at-large NCAA tournament bid, games ended sooner than the close-knit group of players had anticipated.

Despite outshooting the Rhodes College Lynx and a dominant offensive performance, the Washington University men’s soccer team ended Sunday’s contest with its third tie in the last five games.
