Take steps to Occupy Wash. U.

Last Friday, I attended an Occupy St. Louis march that included a protest outside of Bank of America’s St. Louis headquarters. Participants included people of different ages, races, socioeconomic backgrounds and political beliefs. There were students, veterans, union members, toddlers, adults who reminded me of my parents, members of the St.

The Occupy Wall Street movement has come to St. Louis and members of the Washington University community are getting involved. The movement originated in New York City last month as a protest of corporate greed and the nation’s current economic policies. St. Louis residents have claimed Kiener Plaza, in downtown St.
