One week after losing all but one game to the University of Chicago, the No. 16 Washington University women’s tennis team bounced back over the weekend with a 9-0 sweep of the University of Southern Indiana, a NCAA Division-II team.

The home-court advantage of the Dwight Davis and Tao Tennis Centers offered no help to the Washington University women’s tennis team at the 2010 United States Tennis Association/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Women’s Tennis Central Regional on Oct. 1-4.

The No. 14 Washington University women’s tennis team completed the regular season with an 8-1 victory over No. 26 Coe College on Saturday.

In its biggest tournament of the spring season to date, the No. 14 Washington University women’s tennis team came up strong at the Midwest Invitational in Madison, Wis., on April 2-3.
