The Voices & Sounds of Washington University: A Cappella Concert was packed with people anxious to see Wash. U.’s most talented vocalists perform pitch perfectly.

Cadenza staff decided to put together a small preview of what’s going on in the Washington University performing arts world this weekend.

Mosaic Whispers, one of Washington University’s 12 a cappella groups, qualified for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) national finals with the group’s performance at the semifinal round on Saturday.

Over spring break, the Mosaic Whispers, Washington University’s oldest coed a cappella group, performed at the Waterside Stage in Downtown Disney through the Disney Performing Arts program.

March Madness has been taking over our TVs for the past few weekends, but the Mosaic Whispers, Washington University’s oldest co-ed a cappella group, have been tied up with their own tournament. They are competing to sing with musician Andy Grammer and bring him to campus.

For the fifth year in a row, Washington University’s a capella groups are joining forces for a good cause. This year’s Rhythms for Rebuilding charity concert will be held on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Graham Chapel.
