This Thursday, March 21, the A.E. Hotchner Studio Theatre will host the world premiere of a student-written play, “‘If I Were You’ and other Elvis Presley songs.” Senior Cadenza Editor Georgie Morvis sat down with two members of the cast and the playwright herself.
For the past two weeks, student playwrights Aaron Zemach, Leah Barsanti and Selena Lane have cycled through rehearsals, re-writings and complete re-workings of their scripts, some of which were first drafted more than a year ago. All of this was done in preparation for this Friday and Saturday, when their work will be performed for the first time for the A. E.
A new electronic co-curricular portfolio being developed by Washington University will serve as a record for students to keep track of their involvement on campus. Administrators hope the program will help students when it comes time to apply for jobs and to graduate schools.
