Study indicates jump in law school interest after election, WU responds

This winter Kaplan Test Prep, noticing an uptick in law school applicants, conducted a nationwide survey of 537 pre-law students. The survey concluded that a potential reason for the jump in the number of law school applications this year was the 2016 presidential election.

Large changes unveiled to GRE

Students planning to apply to graduate school in the next year will be the first to experience major changes in the Graduate Record Exam. The new test, which is set to launch Aug. 1, 2011, aims to serve as a better indicator of graduate school readiness. The maker of the GRE, the Educational Testing Service, will implement a wide array of changes that they hope will accomplish this goal.
