Chancellor Mark Wrighton and Student Union Senate each endorsed a general election ballot initiative earlier this week that would provide additional funding for St. Louis Metro.

Despite an unprecedented level of political programming from groups around campus, informal discussion remains the most common form of political engagement by students. Such students often want to participate in the election, but are pressed for time.

With the new Washington University Student Union body now active, University students will have one of the body’s senators assigned to them.
