The ongoing construction on Melville Avenue has forced MetroBus to alter the route of the Green Line, a route that primarily serves Washington University students.

Students living north of campus have adjusted their walking routes to campus after construction blocking off the Melville Ave. sidewalk started on Monday.

The robbery of two undergraduate students on the Greenway Walkway, the path connecting the bridge over Forest Park Parkway to Melville Ave., has led the University to expand Campus2Home shuttle service hours to near sunrise. Washington University’s Office of Residential Life has decided to expand gender-neutral housing to the entire North Side, including the Village, Millbrook, Village East and the off-campus apartments, following a series of deliberations. The housing will be available in the fall and can be applied for in the current round of the housing process.
