The Washington University volleyball team had a solid weekend at the Baden Invitational. The Bears rebounded from a tough loss Friday with three straight wins.
Having joined the Washington University community this year, I started following the results of our sports teams. The results of the year fit with the results of my other favorite teams. The Wash. U. women’s soccer team had an impressive season, but they exited their pursuit of another championship earlier than expected.
With Wash. U. still in celebration mode, Marcus Myers collected, turned 90 degrees and knocked down an off-balance shot all in one motion to end Wash. U.’s season in shocking fashion.
Despite playing two tough games this weekend, the Washington University men’s basketball team came out on top against both Aurora University and Anderson University at the Anderson University Invitational over Thanksgiving.
