Women’s golf captures IWU Classic

Washington University’s women’s golf team captured its second major tournament title in the same number of weeks. Freshman Melanie Walsh fired a 153 over two days to finish second overall. Classmate Hannah Buck shot a 156, taking fifth in a field of 111 golfers. The team defeated No. 8 Illinois Wesleyan, No. 6 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, No. 10 Olivet College and No. 20 Wisconsin-Whitewater.
