Washington University’s Campus Circulator now has its own app.

Appearing in Apple’s App Store early Wednesday morning, the “WUSTL Circulator” app shows the live location of the University’s campus circulator. Senior Vinoo Ganesh spent about four months developing the app, which is being funded by Parking & Transportation Services and is available free for all students, faculty and staff. It is compatible with iPhone 4, 4S and 5, the iPod touch and the iPad 2, 3 and mini.

GPS units have been installed in all of the University’s circulator busses.

Ganesh expects an Android application will soon follow.
