More than 1500 vote in fall Student Union elections

Student Sustainability Fund failed to secure block funding in moderately competitive Student Union elections held Thursday and Friday.

Of 6459 eligible voters, 1529 participated in the fall elections for block funding, Senate and Treasury.

EST, Campus Y and Uncle Joe’s each succeeded in their bids for block funding.

Senior Forum Editor Natalie Villalon tied sophomore Rohan Samarth for the sixth ArtSci Treasury seat, and SU is continuing to deliberate over how the race will be settled.

There was also an eight-way tie for Art School Senate as well, with each student receiving one vote.
