I am MUCH older than most of you that attended the rally. I consider myself to be a person that respects the environment and have done so all of my life.

Please consider:

Read the Kyoto Treaty - Understand how it is set up. Do you consider China to be an EMERGING INDUSTRIALIZED NATION? Have you noticed that the US manufactures VERY LITTLE - with China importing large amounts of goods to this country? According to the treaty the USA, as an INDUSTRIALIZED nation, will "supply funding and technology" (i.e. money) to countries such as China. EMERGING countries have NO immediate RESTRICTIONS under the UNFCCC. How would we force China or any other EMERGING country to abide by these regulations?

Our government has added so many environmental regulations (that I have witnessed in my life time) that it has created mass movement of manufacturing from HERE to WHERE EVER there are no restrictions. When these countries fail to abide with the terms - what exactly will be our recourse? In the mean time, there will be no jobs in the US for you after you graduate.

Do you notice any hypocracy in the words and actions of Al Gore and his clean energy movement? The science is NOT proven - IT IS FILTERED TO FIT THE DESIRED OUTCOME OF A FEW. New reports are coming out daily, from the science community, refuting this THEORY.

I know that you are a smart bunch of young adults. PLEASE study the issue and economic ramifications that it will have on you. READ BETWEEN THE LINES. Take a paragraph and circle the key words that make you FEEL emotion. Did the paragraph make you feel good, bad, angry or confused? Bottom line seems that we are being fed emotion and have been given little factual information. We are being conditioned to not question the statement as to it's viability - just react with emotion. Try it on the next thing that you read concerning clean energy.
