Early this morning a truck driving near Washington University’s West Campus became wedged under an overpass spanning Jackson Avenue in Clayton.
The overpass connects West Campus with a parking lot next door.
Washington University Police Department (WUPD) Chief Don Strom said that WUPD responded to the scene of the accident and that there were no injuries reported.
An engineer from the facilities department also responded to the scene, according to Strom, to make sure that all affected structures were stable and safe. All damages to the structure are believed to be purely cosmetic.
The truck has been moved from the scene of the accident.
