I have watched and listened to Rush for more years than I can remember. I try never to miss a program. My wife, however, for almost as many years, has hated him. She refuses to listen, lthough I have almost given up explaining that as he, Rush, says: "Those who do not like me, have never listened to me". This is so true. If you really listen to his program, you will become captivated by his rhetoric, his passionate delivery, his sense of not only humor, butthe absurd. His mixture is the newest "Greatest Show On Earth".To quote a famous ad, :TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT".

I've been lstening to Rush for 20 years and when I first heard him I thought 'what an arrogant egotistical blowhard'. But some of the things he said kept me listening and I discovered, as Tom said, mixed in with his entertaining, his wit and his sometimes over the top sarcastic humor are the serious moments of commentary on daily topics and political idealogy. He spends a lot of time reading and commenting on news articles from many sources. Occasionally I cringe at something he says, and sometimes he's just plain wrong. But overall I've come to know him as just a lovable little arrogant egotistical blowhard fuzzball and I hope I die before he goes off the air.

I've listened to Rush for years now and I, as a lot of people understand his humor as well as his serious undertone for regarding the issues. One would have to have the intelligence short of a pencil eraser to A: Take every word he says literally and B: Not understand the ultimate point he makes. Sure, you don't have to agree with everything he says but do you agree with everything ANYONE says?

Rush does give the facts and cites his sources when he does. If there's something he or anyone else says that doesn't sound right, then get on the internet, search for the facts yourself and come to your own conclusions.

If Rush, or any talk show host gave "just the facts", that would bore people to death. That's where the entertainment factor comes in. Just listen.
