The IPCC is a political organization, not a scientific one. They ignore data and skew results to fit their political agenda. They are a very poor source.

“Earth has cooled since 1998 in defiance of the predictions by the UN-IPCC…. The global temperature for 2007 was the coldest in a decade and the coldest of the millennium…which is why ‘global warming’ is now called ‘climate change.”

-- Climatologist Dr. Richard Keen of the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Colorado

Good job Mike, well written article!

"We hope that the University community will take the initiative to become more informed." I would most certainly agree with you here!

I can't seem to wrap my mind around the total effect climate change will have on humanity. If there is one thing humanity does extremely well, it is adapt. Moving forward into the future, as weather patterns do as they will, and the global population continues to explode, humanity will adapt to the changing time, of that I am confident.

Keep seeking the truth guys, nicely researched article!
