Now to my point. The ps1 had parasite Eve, resident evil, and many other gems worth note. But Zelda ocarina of time, Mario kart, super smash bros, and just the best video games ever made. But it was the era we remember for great games. That was when games shined. Now we live in a time when Bock ops is considered a good game. The unreal engine has created more firswt person shooters than all other genres combined. But we all look back to the n64 era with a amulet on are face. Those were great times. I never thought it was good at all. Only one of my many friends had it, and it honestly wasn't any fun! I have no good memories of it at all. My parents wouldn't budge either, no video games at all except for a few PC games. Whenever I went to my friends houses, it was always straight to the N64. That's pretty much how I got my great childhood memories of video games. My parents gave in a bit sooner though, and I finally got my own N64 too. I still play it almost every day. Not only is it one of the best N64 games, but it also is a strong contender for best game ever made. I was one of those lucky guys that got every nintendo console, even now I have a Wii, but still the best memories of my gaming life come from the 64 era: Wave Race 64, Diddy Kong Racing, extreme g-2 (XG2), Turok 2, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Super Smash Bros, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Paper Mario, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Shadow Man, Pokemon Stadium... and so on. So true, N64 is the best video game system of all times.
