Washington University began its 150th year with the announcement that the University had risen in rank to hold a spot as the 9th best undergraduate program in the country according to U.S. News & World Report. This was the University’s first appearance in the top ten.
As a reporter, I typically write and edit stories about others on this campus. This once, I am delving into my life outside of the Women’s Building and off the pages of Student Life. For the past four years, I have depended on a support system that stretches from my home in Seattle to this campus in St.
Ska-punk band Reel Big Fish will headline spring W.I.L.D. 2007. Their booking agency, The Agency Group, confirmed that the band will take the stage at Washington University on April 27, 2007.
Let’s talk about sex – three little letters that have a whole lot going on. From the first time that we giggled about the female anatomy in seventh grade sex education to the ever-important first time, sex has been making us laugh, cry, scream, and shout for a good part of our lives.
Two years ago, Student Life began publishing a special issue on Valentine’s Day that looks at many aspects of sex on the Washington University campus. This year, we began planning the issue in December, created the issue this past Saturday, and sent it to our printer early yesterday morning.

A Washington University student was attacked in a residential building on the South 40, as confirmed by a Washington University Police Officer. The attack occurred late Monday afternoon. The same source from the police department said they believe the assailant is also a University student.
We all love a good breakup or fight, but we don’t love “buying” a new album and realizing that it’s complete crap. Sadly, this happened more than once this year. Before you go out and spend your winter holiday money on an album, let us tell you if it’s even worth it.

I cannot even give you an answer to that annoying question that I am sure you’ve heard about 23 dozen times since your decision to attend this fine, highly-ranked, top-notch research institution: “So.where is Washington? Seattle? D.C.?”
