Week 12 in the NFL saw several great games with close finishes. A few teams kept themselves alive with much needed wins while others can pack it up for the year. The playoff picture became both clearer and murkier at the same time. What does it all mean? Well, with this being the last issue before the playoffs, here are my predictions.
The NFL season is more than halfway over now, and there are a few teams that are positioned very well going into the final stretch of the season. This week’s big stories were Marshall Faulk’s return with a fury, Brett Favre continuing his dominance at Soldier Field and Kris Brown finding some redemption in overtime versus Cleveland.
Week 8 in The Big Show saw one of the most amazing comebacks in NFL history. again. Elsewhere, an epic divisional rivalry ended with a last second nail-biter, and every NFL fan saw that stupidity can be the deciding factor in a game.
Comebacks were the story of Week 7 in the NFL. New Orleans and Chicago rallied late to knock off St. Louis and San Francisco, while Tampa Bay came back from a terrible performance last week to destroy Minnesota.
What a week. My good buddy Robert Ferris summed it up best when he said, “I haven’t seen this many fu$#ing upsets since I don’t know what year.” Exactly.
