Having given up Bear’s Den for Lent, we were in need of a convenient, reasonably priced restaurant for dinner. We had heard good things about Pasta Plus, and as it satisfied both our criteria, we hopped in a car and took the five-minute drive over to Clayton.
We’re always looking for a great place for Chinese food, so this time we settled on Bamboo Bistro. We had heard good things about this restaurant in downtown St. Louis, so we checked our map and headed out.
The restaurant reflected the deserted streets of the city; we were one of only two groups eating there that night.
Chimichanga is a fun neighborhood hangout that is worth going to if you want better than average Mexican food at a reasonable price. The staff showed a clear concern for its patrons and their food, which was a nice surprise on a night where the restaurant was very crowded.
