Don’t get me wrong-goblins and mysteries can be fun from time to time. Still, having a good time in the fall doesn’t have to involve any sort of mischief or gore. There are plenty of ways to get out and enjoy the perks of this beautiful season without so much as having to search for a costume.
At first glance, Wash. U.’s Office of Undergraduate Admission looks just like that of any other private university.
Tables covered in glossy brochures, pictures of fraternizing students, comfortable chairs-it’s all there. Take a closer look, however, and you’ll find one of Wash. U.’s greatest assets, smiling and ready to brighten your day.
There is more barbecue sauce consumed per capita in St. Louis than in any other American city. The 1904 World’s Fair was the site of many firsts. Novelties introduced on those hallowed grounds include Dr. Pepper, the ice cream cone, iced tea, Buster Brown’s children’s shoes and the turnstile.
When the members of Ryan Stowe’s freshman floor graduate on May 18, many of them might not be ready to say goodbye to Wash. U. Stowe, however, won’t even have to do so.
Stowe might be a senior, but that doesn’t mean his college experience is over. He is one of a growing number of students who have chosen to enroll in one of the University’s 3-2 programs.

It was New Year’s Day 2005. Sophomore Bobbie Bigby was studying abroad in China. A little homesick, Bigby went to a Daoist temple to reflect. When she left the temple later that day, she had found more than consolation – she also had a date.
This Saturday, don’t be surprised if you see the Pope flying down the hill outside of the MUNY in Forest Park.
