Sam Guzik
Editor in Chief

Sam Guzik is a junior from Long Island, New York majoring in English and minoring in political science. Whenever he has the chance to leave the Student Life office, Sam's interests include writing, photography, international relations and obscure grammatical concepts and his favorite tropical fruit is the pineapple. In addition to working for Student Life, Sam is a blogger for Bright Hall and his personal Web site graZnar!; sometimes Sam even has time to be a student. He can be reached by email here.

Indu Chandrasekhar
Associate Editor

Indu Chandrasekhar is a senior from Columbia, Mo. When not moonlighting as the associate editor of Student Life, she can be found under the alternate guises of mariachi player, Indian dancer, prospective freshmen interviewer and slave to the whims of the DUC. She spends her off hours pretending to do her homework. Ask her what she thinks of the new "90210," however, and you'll get the truth. She is currently in the works of producing an animated film with her roommate about a cat that isn't theirs. She can be reached by email here.

David Song
Managing Editor for News

David is a senior from Ellicott City, Maryland. He is a major in Economics and English, and a Writing minor. He likes language forming real stories and fake stories. Sometimes he arranges language to his liking, but is usually content to read and hear other people's words. Evolution, economics, and other precise numbered things also keep his interest. Outside the office, David complains about national discourse, designs Spires magazine, and rolls polyhedral dice. He can be reached by email here.

Trisha Wolf
Managing Editor for Features

Trisha Wolf is a senior originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Writing. When she had free time before deciding to write her thesis based on primary research she performed in India last summer, she enjoyed attending Wash. U. sporting events, following the Olympics obsessively and trying new foods. At school, Trisha also serves as president of the sailing club and co-community service chair of Mortar Board Senior Honor Society. She can be reached by email here.

Brian Stitt
Managing Editor for New Media

Brian Stitt is an English major from St. Louis and situated somewhere between junior and senior status. He finds all forms of entertainment to be endlessly entertaining but holds special affection for bad movies, old comic books and David Bowie. He has found time to study the skills of the phlebotomist, barista and oenologist, but unfortunately is a Jack of all trades and master of none. By the way, the short-lived television series "Jack of All Trades" is right up Brian's alley. When not creating entertainment journalism fusion or watching movies, Brian is usually asleep. He can be reached by email here.

Ben Sales
Senior News Editor

Ben Sales is a senior from Northbrook, IL majoring in the Humanities and History and minoring in Art History. While not cavorting in the Student Life office Ben may be found reading, bumming around art museums, traveling or trying to score free food. He also enjoys using words like "cavorting" when there are plenty of suitable alternatives that fit better in context. He can be reached by email here.

Jill Strominger
Senior Forum Editor

Jill Strominger is a senior philosophy major from Omaha, Nebraska. A former high school debater, it's no surprise she gravitated toward the opinion (best) section. Jill enjoys yoga, coaching Husker football through the television set and searching grocery stores for the best selections of apple cider. She is currently too busy prepping for the LSAT to write a longer bio. She can be reached by email here.

Josh Goldman
Senior Sports Editor

Joshua Goldman is a sophomore from Trumbull, CT. and the Senior Sports Editor. A likely biology major, Josh wants to go to medical school after college. A diehard Yankees and New York football Giants fan, it was only natural for Josh to join Student Life freshman year as a sports writer before becoming an assistant editor. In his free time, Josh can often be found on the tennis court or in front of his laptop watching the Yankees if they are playing. At his summer camp near Boston, he also enjoys wearing his Superbowl XLII hat to see how angry he can get the Patriots fans. Hey, the Giants just wanted it more. He can be reached by email email here.

Michelle Stein
Senior Scene Editor

Michelle is a junior double majoring in Political Science and English Literature, while also attempting a minor in English Composition. She has often been accused of smiling too much and singing at inopportune times. Before coming to school, Michelle lived her whole life in Roselle, Il – one of those tiny suburbs of Chicago no one has ever heard of. In her free time Michelle likes to ski and listen to a random collection music including everything from Hindi music and reggaton to country. She is also quite willing to give up everything in life for some good TV time and company. At the moment, her favorite word is antediluvian. Michelle is open to questions, comments, and random hellos and can be reached by email here.

Cecilia Razak
Senior Cadenza Editor

Cecilia is an English major and senior in the school of Arts and Sciences. She reads proficiently and plays well with others. She exhibits promise as a prose writer: her printing is neat and she shows a basic understanding of cursive, but doesn't share well and often finds herself misunderstood. She accepts all forms of payment including credit card and Paypal, and approves this message. She can be reached by email here.

Lucy Moore
Senior Photo Editor

Lucy is a junior from Washington DC, majoring in history and minoring in photography. She spends most of her time hunting through the vast jungles of the Danforth Campus with her camera but when she's not doing that, she's thinking up more sex advice columns for the online "Sexy Time." while lucy enjoys grapefruits, pineapple pizza, fashion, and smash brawl, she's most happy when eating grapefruits and pineapple pizza, in a fabulous dress, playing smash brawl. Lucy can be reached by email here.

Mike Hirshorn
Graphics Editor

Mike Hirshon is a junior from Ashland, Massachusetts majoring in Communication Design and Psychology. When he is not illustrating columns for Student Life, he is telling other people to illustrate columns for Student Life. This is the entirety of his life (with some eating and sleeping and learning mixed in somewhere). By the time you read this staff bio, he is exceptionally sleep deprived and probably nodding off in the middle of somebody's lecture. He can be reached by email here.

Brian Krigsher
Copy Chief

Brian Krigsher is a junior, originally from New York, majoring in accounting. When he decided to apply his love of nit-picky attention to detail and adherence to archaic rules to words in addition to numbers, he became a copy editor. In his spare time, Brian enjoys reading newspapers (to make him look smart), playing board games (Scrabble, anyone?), watching Disney movies (the good ones) and traveling. He can be reached by email here.

Scott Bressler
Online Editor

Scott is a junior from New York City. He is the Online Editor of Student Life, where he is responsible for making sure the website you are reading has the latest articles and content. Scott is an avid skier and photographer who finds it perilously difficult to combine the two activities. Scott can be reached by email here.

Dennis Sweeny
Design Chief

Dennis Sweeney has much shorter hair now and is a major in the Interdisciplinary Project in the Humanities, which a number of people say they "think they might have heard of." When he is not designing or writing for the independent newspaper of Washington University, he likes to eat, sleep, and scramble around campus pretending to do things. His listed religion on social networking device "Facebook" is "Dinosaurs.". He can be reached by email here.

Willie Mendhelson
Staff Manager

Willie Mendelson is a senior and is majoring in English. From Chi Town, he enjoys listening to Young Buck and when he's not working for the paper he's at Beta Theta Pi or going to Candy Mountain. He also enjoys personalized Tims, muffins and diamonds that smoke off the range. He can be reached by email here.
